الدكتوره عبير سلطان الثقفي عضو هيئه تدريس بجامعه الملك عبدالعزيز قسم اللغه الانجليزيه، حاصله على دكتوراه في الفلسفه من جامعه نوتنقهام بالمملكه المتحده. لها عدة اسهامات في مجال تعليم اللغه الانجليزيه لغير الناطقين بها داخل المملكه وخارجها. كما وأن لها العديد من المشاركات البحثيه في مجال علم نفس اللغه وتطوير المناهج. شاركت في العديد من الندوات والمؤتمرات وورش العمل الخاصه بمجال تعليم اللغه في العديد من الجامعات الرائده من أبرزها جامعتي أوكسفورد و كامبردج. تنوعت خبرتها التعليميه لتشمل انخراطها في تدريس اللغه في عدد من المدارس الخاصه والحكوميه قبل التحاقها بجامعه المؤسس في 2007.
